I'm DALE - a
guitarist and singer, solo artiste, duo and band member.
I started my career many, many, many years
ago in a folk duo before forming my first band "Andromeda"
in 1983.
Andromeda started off as a 3 piece band, but in 1987 we added a rhythm
guitarist.
In 1992 Andromeda morphed into the legendary
"Into The Fire", who were mainstays at the Witchwood for the next
three years as we rocked our way through many excellent rock parties,
and struck our name indelibly in the history of Ashton's premier venue!
Into The Fire wrote and recorded our 1st CD "More Than Ever" in 1994.
Into The Fire became "Pincer" in 1999, and
took two years out to write and record our debut album for
D-Mak
Records. This self titled CD was released in the August of 2001 at The Witchwood
(where else?) and has since gone on to sell and stream all over the
world with
CD Baby.
I formed the pub and club duo "Smooter"
in
1996 after the birth of my daughter Kendal, and went on the road
making my living as a professional musician for the next six years,
becoming a solo guitar/vocalist in 2000.
After a few years off gigging the live
circuit (making the occasional guest appearance at charity do's and
parties) I decided in 2007 it was time to return, and hit the road
once again...
And that's what I've been doing for the past
few years... Playing my own favourite soft rock/pop and soul standards in pubs around the
Manchester area.
From early 2008 until 2nd of April 2011 I sang with classic rock
stalwarts Boneyard Dogs.
And in the summer 2011 I joined the rock band
Pierrepoint
and have been singing with them ever since.
In 2015 I joined forces with Richard Muller (drummer and vocalist
from Metropolis) to form
the duo "Coaster"... We play a mix of tunes from the sixties and
BEYOND, with Richard on drums and vocals and of course myself on
guitar and vocals: - Rock, pop, soul and MORE!!!!!!!!

And my latest musical adventure begins...
BEADED SUN
I'm collaborating with Rick Muller on drums (My Coaster companion) and
Si Peddle on bass (from Pattison Fogg and The Mr Sparkle Band) to
record and perform my own self-penned songs. And album will be on its
way sooooooon...
